explain about the two piece bottom and what needs to be sealed? is this something that "might" leak in the future?

Ok here is the skinny.

It is an older tank.

The tank has a 2 piece bottom. Due to the 2 piece bottom when the tank is move it will flex more. When I bought it second hand the person told me it needs to be resealed when it is transported around. I did reseal it So this is why I am saying it needs to be resealed, please I am awful at anything to do with a calking gun or tube
