Help finding fish (Edgewood MD)

Have no clue where to post this, so thought this might be a place

I'm new to the area, so really have no idea where to go. . only places I've seen have been marine dreams & petco locally for salt water .

Unfortunately, the service I got at Marine dreams wasn't what I was hoping for with starting out. I'm new, so don't want to spend $20 on the first fish in the tank. I was taught with my fresh to start with a hardy cheap fish, then move your way up. (and with that, i'm working my way up to angels & discus LOL) and the guy behind the counter just didn't seem interested once I said I didn't want to spend that much .. was rather disappointed.

So, can anyone point me anywhere in the near vicinity? I hope to go to that fish place up in lancaster next month with two co workers who have salt water

Thanks

HI,
I don't know exactly where Edgewood is, but we have used the Marine Scene in Herndon, VA. They're very good. We started with clown fish (I have two I'm looking for a home for - need to break down our tank). Clowns are pretty hardy, as are the green chromis.

Good luck!

Exotic Aquatics in Baltimore Maryland. Good selection, nice stock. This is the only place I will buy livestock.

That Fish Place in Lancaster, PA. Great prices on equipment, kinda high $$ on livestock. I don't think their selection is quite as good as Exotic Aquatics.

I'm in Cecil county and am looking to find a home for 2 clownfish. PM if interested.

yes, I have, gotten mixed views of the place due to the workers. First few times in, the guy behind the counter was not much help, last time I went in, different guy, and the customer service was much better.

Thanks KW Jones, but already have two clowns

I've never been there, but have heard great things about them and will be checking them out after the holidays are over.

How often do you go to O.C. if at all? If you do, make sure you stop by Dr. Macs (http://www.pacificeastaquaculture.com/). It just off of Rt. 50 in Mardela Springs. I made a 4 hour round trip there just for live rock and ended up coming home with 4 new corals too. They have the healthiest stock I've seen and Dr. Mac is extremely helpful. Not much fish there, but if you want some colorful coral, it's the place to go.
