Michael---check your PM for a note from me regarding the October meeting...let me know if that works for you (October 14th)...let us know what time.
It would be great if you could come, Mephestio...Contrary to popular belief, we are not just a group of elitist pigs....
I would be interested in a frag of the pink milli and the orange cup if possible. I have a nicely colored acro that I may be able to frag. Looking back at these pictures it has grown quite a bit.
Acro photos
(And, yes, Michael---I'll try to get a frag for you too--since it is the "club" coral and you're just an all-around awesome dude).
I'll also start some capnella frags. I might be able to get a frag of the purple polyp monti too. I also have some green/purple ricordia yuma. Let me know what you'd be interested in.
Jodi

I will talk to my wife tonight about times for the meeting. I will also talk to her about what to serve.
Jodi, I better get a frag I helped pay for that thing!
Like usual I have several corals and frags to trade/sell/give away to those who bother to come to my house.
Currently I have...
Soft: Colt that needs to be fragged, Finger Leather Frags, Umbrella Leather Frags, Green/Brown Button Frags
LPS: Frogspawn single head, Soft Ball Size Galaxia
SPS: Red/Purple Monti Digita frag, Orange Monti digita large frag, green acro frag, some other type of SPS of unknown type white and something else, orange scroll, mustard with pink rim cup coral, whole colony of brown/green posilipora with red/green/orange buttons attached also, Colony(Big) or frags(Big) of blue tip stag, frags of Flor green polyp stag.
Mephestio/BlueTricky(What should I call you?): I would be interested in fragging my Purple/Metalic Green Acro with White and Green Polyps for some of your Purple Acro. ALso would you be interested in taking home presents for other reefers in your club? I would be willing to give a frag or two each. Of course beggers would not be choosers
BTW sorry about the spelling

I will bring a frag of my Purple and green for your Tri color. I think we talked about this before... I will frag it tomorrow. So it will be fine by the 14th. if I can make it.. so for so good! And also that Frogspawn might be something I'm after too. I have a hammer that might be ready to be clipped?
StellaMn, I will have a few frags of Pink millipora to trade, as long as I dont have it... I'll trade for it. I might have some green millipora to trade as well. but the frags will be 1". I would trade the Orange scroll but not sure it is ready. I trade Micheal for that in Jan (I think) isn't that large yet.
Oh and Micheal, those Green Stags are loosing their color I have them at the top of my tank...(2x250watt MH) you think that they require less light? They grow like weeds however.....
anyone else have request from me?
thanks
ps- you can call me Jay, thats fine

Wow, this is all getting pretty complex
For the Purple and green for the Tri color. I will be giving a small frag and expecting a small frag. It is one of the slowest growers in my tank and I tend to be very frugal with it.
I already have a hammer that looks pretty much like yours. How about some Orange /Green Zoanthid Polpys for the frogspawn.
The one thing that comes to mind for the green stag is the ammount of atinic you have. Mine has alway had metalic green polyps top to bottom in my tank, and I am very heavy on the atinic. Less than the last time you saw it though. I use to have 2 50/50 and 2 atinic. Now I have 2 daylight and 2 atinic. Otherwise you might be right, maybe it is too much light for it. Personally I am just trying to keep it under control
****, forgot to talk to my wife about times and food. Maybe tonight

Woohoo!!! Frag swap!!
I stopped by the LFS last night a picked up some rubble. Hope to get the fragging done this weekend.
Michael told me that the orange cap originally came from him, so I can hold off on that...maybe grab one from him sometime. The milli's would be great!
I'll be bringing some green/purple ricordia yuma, capnella tree, and a couple of small frags of the blue/purple acro. I'm not sure what else I'll have, but I'll have those things for sure.
Can't wait!
Jodi

OH come on now Michael, don't be stingy, Lets see the whole pic of it in its current glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, the frag you gave me of the tri-color has decided it is an encrusting tri-color has cemented several rocks together, but still only the main frag for a branch!!!! Wierd, but it has some cool colored striations in it!!!!! Very interesting coral!

Ah but current glory would imply that I was able to get a picture of it. Not having a digital camera and its current location at the top back of the tank are both rather limiting factors. Unless I pull it out of the tank to a place I can snap a picture and beg/borrow/steal a camera I will have to rely on people taking pictures of the daugher colonies.
It is interesting that yours is only encrusting. Maybe it is the intense light in your tank. Mine encrusted the entire rock it was on and then it grew up as a whole to 6-8 inches now above the encrusting.
