If nobody else has offered, Becky and I can host on Tuesday. Just don't expect as much from our tank as those who've been doing this a bit longer.
Also, free kindling if anybody wants some. (We had our 60+ foot walnut trimmed a couple weeks ago and still have many braches to cut up for firewood. It looks like we have an infestation of beavers in our back yard right now, though. )

Ben & Becky, since you are volunteering I suggest that you set a time (6:30-8) or something like that and also that you get directions to Jodi so she can e-mail them to the group list. I love seeing new tanks; this is going to be fun!
So, how much firewood do you have and how much are you willing to get rid of? Nicole and I are stocking up wood for the winter so we are definitely interested.

We'll get a time and directions to Jodi tonight. I need to check with Becky, as I usually can't get home until 5:30-5:45 and she'd end up needing to make the majority of the food as a result of that. (Of course, she's a far better cook, so that might be just as well as far as guests are concerned.)
As for firewood, if you are willing to cut up small branches (1" or less in diameter mostly) you can have all that you can cut. There is enough to do a credible beaver lodge impression, even though somebody else already took a small truck bed of wood. Maybe a 6'x4'x4' pile of branches, if you want a whole lot. We've already cut a fair amount, and you could certainly have maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a car trunk full of that, too. If we have nice weather this weekend, I'll probably cut up more that you could take. It's still pretty green, though.

Thanks for hosting, Ben! I'll be happy to get the info out.
Mikayla and I won't be there (GASP!! 2nd meeting in a row that I'll miss). I'm coaching Mikayla's basketball team this year, and we have practice on Tuesday next week. I don't get to pick days/times for practices, so I'm kind of stuck..

Sure, we can have it at our house. Ben can get out the directions to Jodi. We live right in Rochester. I think 6:30 PM will be best.

I'll be doing a night dive in Cozumel around 7pm Tuesday night...I'll take a little extra time and look at a few natural inhabitants in honor of you all!
