I knew stopping at FnP last night was a bad thing...
I've been wanting to set up a Pico in my office for a long time...and I took the plunge today...
2.5 gallon minibow (ended up buying it at Wal-Mart - exact same tank as at FnP---only $15 cheaper at Wally's)...swapped out the incandescent light for the Coralife compact 50/50...gotta add filtation (didn't like the one that came with the tank). Added 3 lbs of sand. Tomorrow I'll bring in the saltwater and liverock...planned inhabitants are an
astrea snail, a
nassarius snail, possibly a hermit crab and a gemma goby. I'll be adding softies (as in a couple zoos, a mushroom or two, etc.)...
This will be fun....water changes will be easy...just swap out a cup or two of water a week....
I'll try to remember to bring the camera to work so I can record the progress...
