My 100th Post
Hi All;
I've been DYING to get to 100 posts. Now I'm here and to celebrate, I'm posting a pic of a spotted eel that I took that I'm rather proud of.

Wow, what awesome color!! We don't get much here other than greens or browns in the corals (an occasional pink or blue but very rare!) and other inverts (sponges, soft corals in particular) are non-existant. Lots of colorful, rare fish, though. About 1/4 to 1/3 of the fish here are endemic, meaning this is the only place in the world you'll find them.

We did a few night dives and the hilite there was feeding the corals. We would get close with our lights and the plankton & others little dudes would SWARM around the light, the anemonies & others would latch on and chow time had begun! Lots and lots on sand rays, I almost touched a Lesser Ray (electric!!!!) on a dive. Saw an abundance of turtles, both green and hawksbill. Got to see a couple seahorses and Nudi's. Very healthy system there thanks to the Marine Park designation.
Part of the videois where we went through a sunken ship used as an attraction/artificial reef. The C-53 is an old Coast Guard Cutter that was given to Mexico, who used it to patrol their waters. It sits upright at 90 feet. The video will show the Lesser Ray at the bottom, lots of silversides in the ship and some ugly divers. You will have to guess which on I am when you get the video, Larry. Fun and safe time had by all.

I almost forgot about the Coral sex. Awesome! The water would get cloudy over some of the corals and at first I couldnt figure out what was wrong. Blamed it on the crapping Parrotfish at first. Then I saw the "volcano eruptions"...all over the place. Super cool to see on that large of a scale!!!! Good thing I didnt drink the water.

I guess that means you don't swallow???
Seriously, though, that had to be TOTALLY awesome! I've been snorkeling the day AFTER coral sex and there were all these little orange balls floating around (at least that's my interpretation of the little orange balls floating around).
