May Meeting

Any suggestions for the May meeting? We are scheduled to meet on May 11th. We are supposed to be out of town that day...but could be back for an evening event.

We definitely plan something for when Larry is in town... I miss seeing everyone too...

I'm having outpatient surgery on May 21st. I'm hoping that helps...

Hey Michael---maybe I can get those zoos from you....

The zoos are your's we just have to find a way to get them into your hands. I just got back on Friday after being away for a week on business. I picked up a nasty bug on the fight and have been pretty sick since Saturday.

I still need to talk to Duane in person about tank sitting, you said he was willing right?

Don't let Duane tank sit!!! He killed Simba, my beloved lionfish!!!! Just kidding, Duane. Simba had been a little off before the move anyway. He was the coolest fish I ever had, though. Lots of personality!

Jodi, I hope you recover well enough from surgery to endure a visit! I'll be there less than a week afterwards. Maybe we could do lunch one day.

Michael---Duane did say he was willing....

Larry---the surgery is being done outpatient and I'm sure I'll be all back to normal by the time you get here. Looking forward to your visit.

Have a good one!

Hey,

Hey Ya'll this is Jay from the Western Wisconsin Reef Club. I am just curious to know if you are all planning on having a meeting on the 11th. I would be interested in coming up. I have some SPS i would love to trade for other SPS. I do have others available but see website for items i have. I bought a house and would like to frag everything, so if something goes wrong I know where to get a frag back!! hehe... plus it is a great way to get other SPS in the loop. And our clubs loop too, we are up to 17 members now. And some of our members are starting to get serious, exciting times.

So with that i was also going to extend and invitation to anyone that would like help in the planning of a MN/WI Frag weekend here in LAX, I am yet to extend the invite to Madison club. The event would be here in LAX to hopefully draw a crowd from both locations. I would like to see an event in Aug or Sept. that way corals could be fragged now and would be great sizes by then. I think it would be a great opportunity for all 3 clubs to gain info / frags/ and most importantly friends!

Let me know what you think I would like to see something like this be pulled off since IMAC is $150... crazy in my opinion.

thanks
Jay

What happened?

I called Duane last night and did not get an answer or a call back. Did we have a meeting?

Jodi, I need to drop off a key to Duane, when I do I can drop off the button rock.

The eery silence is getting to me, Jodi, Duane, John, .... anybody?

Spring seems to be disrupting our club , it does every year. Sorry about that.

I can break off a chunk of my Tri-Color any time you are ready to trade for yours. Also I would be happy to give you frags of:
(SPS)Blue tip stag, flor green polyp stag, mustard yellow purple/pink rim cup coral, others
(Soft)Green tree coral, finger leather
(LPS) Flor Green Frogspawn

If you have room to grow them out I would be willing to just give them all to you now for your frag swap this fall. I am looking more to make space than get get new frags.
