I was in Rochester yesterday!

I was cruzing through town and saw this LFS next to a closed up Rainbow foods. I decided to stop in and check out thier selection and caught them selling a sun pylop (tubestrea-SP?) to a sw begginer!!! The guy new nothing about corals!!! I questioned the salesman if he knew how to feed it and he didn't know anything... It just kinda erks me off that these LFS don't care a thing about the reefs, just how to make a buck.

I wish that i would have taken the time to come and see some of your tanks. i will have to plan for next time.

Funny thing, there are two places in town that sell any salt water. They are both located near closed Rainbow Foods. I am 99.9% sure I know which store you are refering to but can you give me one more hint? Was it in North Rochester or South?

PS You should have mentioned you were blowing through town, I would have tried to send you home with some stuff.

Michael - I will be down this weekend. I know of the store by Face the Music. Where is the north store that you're referring to? Is it the big chain store by the car lots or is there a new one down there?

FnP is on the South side of town, PetCo is on the North. As far as I know PetCo only sells fish and some inverts, no corals.

mnreefgeek: I have a good friend comming over from WI this weekend. He will be getting pick of the litter to take home, I am sure I will have some frags left if you are interested. If you are interested in frags give me a call (PM me for Phone #)
