Group order on the saltwaterfish sale? Ends Aug 25th.

Well...

A royal gramma is on my "to get" list, and you can't beat $1.99. With 3 neon gobies and a ricordia polyp in the same order, I'd be getting up to $22. You need $79 to get their shipping deal, so I thought I'd see if anybody else was thinking of making an order. It's less than half normal price for me, but with their $10 surcharge on all orders and shipping costs, it ceases to be a deal. In contrast, a group deal might be worth it. I doubt the ricordia will be fabulous, but if your tank is as empty as mine, that's probably fine.

Anybody interested? If we get close to $80, I could probably pick up a few extra inverts to push us over. The sale ends after Wednesday.

I would like to get in on this order!!!

Hi Ben,

I am also from Rochester. It is pretty hard to get good prices on fish! I would like to get in on this order if that is all right.

I would like -

1 lawnmower Blennie
1 Foxface
3 Peppermint Shrimp
1 Pencil urchin
1 Letus Nudibranch

Tell me if this will work out.

Thanks,

Aaron

Ironically, they've sold out of most of what I wanted to get, being the one to initiate a group order. However, if Jodi and Aaron still want to order, I'm still in for what I can get.

Aaron's order totals to $57 and only $5 of the $22 I had wanted to order is still available (just the ricordia polyp). The minimum order is $79, so depending on what Jodi wants, I'll probably add more to my order to make it work. Today is the end of the sale, so we need to figure this out quickly.

I am not getting as much as you, Aaron, and I'd hate to leave a tang bagged too long. Do you want the order delivered to your home? If not I can certainly get it, as my wife is currently home weekdays, but I'm thinking of acclimatization.

Please try to respond ASAP.

Hi Ben...

Hope I didn't leave you waiting too long...I'm at work and life is crazy here...

Looks like they are sold out of most of what I wanted too...

I do need some cleaners, but I know we can get a better deal elsewhere....

OK. If you aren't interested after all, it's just up to Aaron, because as I said, most of what I wanted is gone, even the firefish I was thinking I'd get if all else failed...

MalawiMD,
If you want to still make the order, I can come up with some stuff to get to $22, but otherwise we can just wait for the next opportunity. They still have one fish I want to get in the intermediate future (yellow watchman goby), but it is pretty much the same price as Fish and Pets.

At this point I'd say it makes the most sense for you to order if you still want to and I can cover $5 (1 ricordea polyp), $15 (1 ricordea & 10 astrea snail package), or $28 (1 ricordea & 1 yellow watchman goby). If you don't strongly want to order, I'll just recommend that the group of us try again in the future to set up an order before all the stuff we want sells out.
