Does your nano have a cover on it that can be taken off?
I don't have a problem with my nine gallon (that is fully enclosed) but, the thirty gallon had some high temps and I had to take the glass cover off. I just, tonight, folded it in half and set it toward the back of the tank - in hopes that it would help keep the cover on my lights from getting saltwater on them.
I also have central-air that is set at 70 degrees, which I'm sure helps the tanks too.
A fan should work. I have used ice cubes in a ziplock to lower the temp in a hurry.
