WTFind 72"T5 Reflectors+bulbs

Any idea where to find 72 inch reflectors and bulbs for T5s? I can find all of the 48 and 60s but no 80 w 72 Inch?

I don't think you are going to have much luck trying to find 72" reflectors and/or bulbs simply because of the limited demand for them. You don't see them a lot (if at all). What you could do for the reflectors is to use 2 36" clip on reflectors to go on a 72" bulb but not sure where you would even start hunting a 72" T5 bulb.

Says that the 60" bulb is an 80W, so I am not sure what a 72" bulb would be.

Are you trying to do a DIY retro style kit on a 6 foot tank? If so, its easier to find the parts to do a 72" VHO setup.

For a 72" tank you use 2 36" bulbs and reflectors side by side.

I've never seen 72" bulbs, and like Randy points out the 80W bulbs are 60". If you're dead set on getting something 72", you'll have to double up 36" lights. I have no problem running 48" bulbs over a 60" tank, though, so you may consider doing something similar.

I will probably go with the 60 inch. I did see 72" 80 watt somewhere but I didn't flag it because it was stupid expensive. Hope I can find 60" reflectors. The difference in brightness between the 80W and 54 W is quite noticeable. I had them side by side and the 80W smoked the 54s. Wish I owned a PAR meter to see the real deal. This is for a frag tank (72" X 24" X 16"). I am redoing the hood and have 2 400W MHs with Lumenarc Diamonds and wanted to really make it look sharp with 72 T5s.
The hunt goes on.

If it was a 72" fixture that was 80W, then they were using a 60" bulb in them. It may have staggered them to get full coverage, though. Good luck shopping, I usually use www.reefgeek.com for lighting stuff.

McFly, most - if not all - the parts for a 60" T5 setup are available from hellolights.com and probably just about anywhere that carries reef specific lighting setups.
