What to use for glass baffles in a glass aquarium?

Can I just simply use clear silicone to hold glass baffles in place in my glass sump? Will it hold?

absolutely. glass on glass using sillycone is how your tank is held together. just make sure it is 100% silly cone without any additives or preservatives.
