What kind of adhesive for Acrylic to Plastic

I'm redoing the plumbing into my sump and I made a bracket out of acrylic to hold the pipe coming into the sump onto the rim of my DIY AGA sump. I was going to use crazy glue, but with the weight of the pipes and unions, I'm worried that it may not hold. Would epoxy work better and is it reef-safe?

Epoxy should be non reactive once its cured, are you going to glue the piping to the acrylic bracket? Anyway to use zip ties?

I would use nylon screws to pinch a bracket to the tank. it would hold more weight and you could beef it up and it would support the weight and then some.

I'll get some pictures after the little terror goes to bed, but basically it's just a section of acrylic with a 1-1/2" uniseal in it to hold the PVC. I was going to glue the section in the corner but after I put it together it was a lot heavier than I thought. I also thought of nylon screws but there's not much of a lip inside of a 20g AGA.

Here are the pictures of what I came up with today.

The reason for this replacement is because I have an internal overflow in the center of my 75g drilled through the back. Water drains out of the tank and falls straight down 2ft before making a 90 degree turn to the left and going another 2 ft before droping the final 1 ft into the sump. I've been battling microbubbles since I setup the tank and I think a lot of bubbles were due to water sloshing around too much before it entered the sump. I've been using a filter sock for a few weeks but I don't like having to replace them every other day and I've already had one overflow due to build up when I forgot to change it after a few days. The wife wasn't happy with that much. I'm replacing the biggest drop with spa flex so that there's a smoother ride into the sump.

Take a piece of PVC pipe the height of your sump. Add a cap to the top. Cut out one side of it to allow your drain pipe to slide in/out of it. You can put the uniseal in the cap on the top. The PVC pipe would sit on the bottom of the sump, the cap on the top would help secure the PVC pipe in place that the bracket is designed to hold. Then the weight won't be suspended but rather it will sit on the bottom of the sump.

You posted while I was typing. Take a 3 or 4" pipe and cut it the height you want. Cut one side out of it to make it open. Let the acrylic piece sit on top of the pipe. The pipe will sit on the bottom of your sump. The area you cut out of the side of the pipe will allow your plumbing to slide in/out of the pipe.
