VHO lights ???

I just bought a used VHO light system.
Its the hello system and it don't work ?

does the ballest make noises or anything when runing?
can i just use a normal bulb to see is one is burnt out ?
is there anything i might be needing to do or ?

Is it the ARO ballast? I would check all the wiring as one little thing can mess it up. You can run NO bulbs to check the ballast. The ARO ballast will have a diagram for wiring so just check each wire and connection. Hopefully its something simple!
