Woh,.. I'm sorry, but this whole thing scares me.
I would level out the stand insted of just using foam to fix the problem,.. if you look at that foam it's compressing really hard in 2 corners, and that takes a fair ammount of pressure to do, so I immagine this is putting allot of strain on your tank.
I hate to say this,.. but I've had to re-build stands because of issues like this before.
Is the stand twisting because it's sitting on un-even ground? If you don't have solid front side, and back panels that is possible.
I would use foam on the leveled out stand if it's a flat bottom glass tank, but I would not rely on it to fix major stand warps.

Wow!!!
That is really out, I completly agree with Geoff and Whiskey. If you still have water in there you should get it out. I wouldn't even attempt putting water in the tank again untill you figure out what is causing the inbalance.

I am confused. Are you saying that the stand is level? Is the floor unlevel?

The tank is warped? This is a glass tank? Do me a favor, take a tape measure and measure the diagonals of the tank (front, back, sides). If the diagonals are equal, then the tank is true. You can also do the same for the stand to see if it is true and straight.

Measure the tank from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Then measure the tank from the top right corner to the bottom left corner. Do this for both the front of the tank and back side of the tank and post the measurements. How do you know the stand is straight?

Yes. Since the measurements are equal, that means that the tank is even on all sides and level. That means that your STAND or FLOOR is uneven. Please double check your stand by measuring the diagonals on it as well - top left to bottom right and top right to bottom left.

Well, you got me stumped! If you measured correctly, then both the stand and the tank are perfectly square, and yet, when you place the tank on top of the stand, there is over 1 inch of gap between the tank and stand in a corner. Either you measured something wrong, or the floor is dramatically uneven.

OK, next possibility - is the top of the stand perfectly level? If you have a rise in the middle of the top, it will act as a fulcrum and make the tank stick up on one side. Take a long level or some perfectly straight tool (like a yardstick) and lay it across the top to see if it is level and flat.
