The actual Beckett won't fit inside a 1 1/2" pipe although you could make the pipe on either side of it that size I suppose.

At one time I had pictures of the inside of this but I don't know what I did with them.



The inlet and outlet are 1" pipe. At the bottom it goes through two adapters and the pipe in my hand is a 2" diameter pipe. If I can find my pipe tomorrow I will take it apart and take pictures. The beckett slides down inside it perfectly. I just don't know how well it would perform staying at 1" or 1.5" until it enters the skimmer body.
