Sump help?!

I am new at the build your own sump/tank, and have a few questions. (1) I am using Plastic for a basic wall that will have my overflow one side and the other will have my return holes, How do I attach lexan to that and to the tank? (2) how do I calculate how far up to place the lexan parts for the under flow and down for the overflows.... and ensure that I have enough flow and not too much...Trial and error is going to be hard, as it is going in a tank. (3) Can Silicone be used to attach lexan to lexan? That is about all for now. Thanks

the only thing you can use to attach polycarbonates to polycarbonates is Weld-On. it comes in a variety of viscosities. the most popular being #3 and #16. since you are new to polycarbonates i would suggest you get yourself some #16.

2" spacing between baffles and the under heights is a good rule of thumb. the over baffle should be as tall as the recommended min water height for the skimmer you plan on using.
