Wow, you guys can really come up with a trick or two....very impressive, I would never have thought to try any of this stuff...that is why I like reading this site...:-)

Have you done this with flex PVC aka/ spa flex? And not the "vinyl" hose. I would rather use the PVC fittings that the flex fits into. Just ease of mind.

I don't trust any joints that aren't screwed or glued... I keep waiting for the hose to slip off the barb on my Mag12 and empty my sump onto my carpet. I wish aquaC made their injectors with threaded ends... Maybe I'll glue a threaded coupler onto the barb.....
