PVC shelter questions


if I cut up PVC for shelter in my QT, does it jsut need rinsed or will it exude chemicals or something? ALso how well sanded do cuts need to be. I didn't have a PVC cutter so I just jigsawed it and it is a little rough

PVC is sanitary uinless your tools had oil on them.

Just smooth the edges with some sandpaper. A few seconds is fine. I used to worry about fish cutting themselves and then decided the rock in my tank was more of a risk than the pvc pipe

I gotta go along with hop, just wash it well and sand the sharp edges off
