plexiglass, where

I am finally ready to start up the tank, but I need to piece together the sump parts, I have a 50 gallon tank to sump my 90 with. Where do you get plexiglass to cut, what is the prefered cutting tool and obviously I'll need epoxy (marine safe)

is the sump glass or acrylic ? if the sump is glass its kind of hard to get acrylic baffles to maintain their position , as things like silicone don't adhear well to the acrylic . you can try using the epoxy which would adhear to the glass well but once again questionable on the acrylic .
now if the sump is acrylic then just use one of the products used for bonding the acrylic together . the best acrylic is found at shops that specialize in it . you may find it at some of the big home improvement stores , but i have found their quaility of acrylic not as good as the specialized shop , and the prices have been much better at the specailized shop for better quality . if your sump is glass look into making glass baffles as silicone will hold the glass perfectly . as far as cutting the acrylic my tool of choice is a table saw .

ditto on what Gary has said. you can use silly cone to adhere plexi to glass only if you use big beads along the baffles. silly cone does not stick well to acrylic long term, but if you put big enough beads around the baffle it will work quite well long term.

Yeah, it is glass, I will check the cost of a glass shop in the area and try to get them to make a baffle.
