try a reducer to get a smaller size with a standard regulator.

the only problem is then there is no pin to open the co2 tank

i was thinking of getting a bottom line off of a paintball gun and hooking up a needle valve to the bottom line but i dont think that just a needle valve can handle the pressure.

i know that they make hoses to go from the tank on a belt to the gun. why not just go with a standard tank? i know its a nano but the amount of co2 used doesnt change. would prolly be easier and cheaper. other wise check with maybe a welding company.

I thought about it but i already have a small tank and to get the tank and then the regulator for it i would rather just buy some fittings and save 50$.

Ok i got it and its working good. I bought a argon/co2 mig regulator and took off the orginal fittings and put a 1/8 x 1/4 adapter and a 1/4 piece of fitting in place of it. then got a paintball bottom line adapter. Rig it all up and after pustting with it. its working good.

i was just reading about tanks and suppliers to avoid. i hope this is not true for you but.....it clearly said that paintball tanks have alot of oil in them for the guns. it also said that welding tanks tend to have alot of moisture. the article i read suggested buying tanks from either aquarium suppliers or from a food supplier or hospital use.
like i said i dont know how accurate any of this is but you may want to keep it in your mind incase things get odd for ya.

well so far i am having troubles getting this thing to run consistant. I dont know what is happening. It will run great for about 2-3 hours then co2 will just start rushing into the system.

what do they say about bpm and drips per minute on a 20 gallon tank?

any suggestions

if the pb co2 tank is new and hasnt been sent into any shops for repair, there shouldnt be any oil in it. we only put oil on the valves to find leaks in the tank. a good idea might be to put a gas thru forgrip inbetween the asa(bottomline) and your regulator. if needed i think i have one laying around somewhere

Its running mint. i think that the problem was that i had the system above the tank with a little rio 90 feeding it and it was messing up the pessures in the system. so i moved it level with the tank and it running perfect
