counting the hours until that bad boy is in my house with the new tank sitting on top of it. you are doing a great job charles, i am glad i didnt try to make it myself with my jigsaw and dremel in my kitchen like i was planning to do originally!

You are a Chief not a "wood butcher" heh heh. I'd like to have seen you working in the kitchen - on the stand, with sawdust all over the place.

Just waiting for the tank, then I'll start on the hood. Just want to make sure of the dimensions.

OT is always a good thing. It is no problem, i have my 175 watt rig over the tank now and the corals anre doing fine.

Wanareef, Is the entire stand held together with biscuts (and glue)?

I've done some wood work (mostly home interior walls and trim though) but I have never built a stand because I never trusted that it would hold anything

Please tell us all about these biscuts, I'd like to know how they work exactly and their common applications.
