Hello everyone

I'd like to start off by saying this is the best site i've found as of yet, very informative, thank you all for the great information.

As i'm sure you've guess, i havn't got a clue about reef tanks, bt i want to have my own in about 2 months or so. I'm currently in the process of building my first ever glass aquarium. 8 x 2 x 2. I've been doing alot of research, but having a hard time understanding all the technical lingo and such. I've got a handle on the "sump" issue, but don't really understand what all the other items are like the.. refugium *might not be spelled right*.. either way, is there possibly a book you guys could recommend for the newbie like myself. Thanks for your help.

prolly the best thing to do is run a search for refugium in the General forum. i am finishing up this topic in the Discussion of the week this week. this actually gives a lot of the pros and cons of them.
