Need affordable output nozzle suggestions...

Gang,

I'd appreciate any suggestions towards output nozzles for my setup. You can see a pic of the tank in the starboard alternative thread. I've got a t-bar across the top back of the tank with four threaded half-inch outputs on it. Currently, I've just got some cheap hose barbs threaded on for some velocity and back pressure, but would like something a bit more diffused. I put a hydor flo on one of them but am not sure whether I want to run those.

Any suggestions? The return pump is an OR6500, and the return plumbing is from a brute on the floor behind the tank.

Thanks,
Dan

you could try a number of things. you could make a spray bar that just has a lot of 1/4(what ever size you need for the amount of force you want) in holes drilled in it in random directions. (i have one setup behind my rocks for flow this way and it works well, and is about as cheap as you can get.
you could also try a little bigger barb fitting and then heat them up (with a heat gun or boiling water) and flatten out the ends which would make it a little more like the ones you can buy. you could also keep the same sized barb fittings, but get a treaded to a Y and then add more barb fittings. that way they would spray at 45degree angles instead of straight out.
hope this might help, as I have never tried any of these except the holes drilled in my DIY pvc spraybar.
