My New Skimmer

I have been running a Redsea berlin skimmer on my Prop tank and I have been hating it. So I built my self a needle wheel skimmer with a crap trap. For now I will try it out with the pump from the berlin but will be changing it to a Sedra from a g-3

could you post the dimensions of it?

where did you get all of the acrylic tubing?

Thank you for the welcome. You folks have a very nice site here.
The skimmer is 27" tall the main body is 6" dia. as is the colection cup. The crap trap is 5" dia and about 12" tall.
I get my acrilic tube from Craftics.

I hooked it up this morning with my redsea berlin pump. All I have to do now is wait till its broke in then I will decide on the new pump.

A question for the Mods. What am I doing wrong, I had to delete the first pic befor it would let me upload another??

interesting. were you trying to add a pic after the initial post or at the same time as the other pic?

another option is to post the pics in the photo gallery then link them to the post.
