mount fuge light?
My diy fuge is a seperate 30g tank.
I picked up one of those high color floodlights for my fuge. now i need to make a fixture for it above my tank. any suggestions?
I was thinking of getting one of those landscaping floodlight fixtures, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

yes, i just need the fixture to screw the bulb into.
I got one of the floodlights recomended at melevs reef site. he mentions a spring loaded clamping socket. i checked at lowes yesterday and I couldn't find anything similar.
i checked at a sears hardware this morning, but couldn't find anything. i'll try home depot tonight.

They are called clamp lamps at most places and a few local stores have them. Ace, Home depot,
lowes carries them, but is out of stock. i should be able to pick up one without a problem.
here is the bulb that i bought.

That is a great light and I picked up the same clamp light that Marc is talking about in his web site. Great Guy BTW: fortunate enought to know if for a brief period of time.
The fixture can really be anything that will deliver 110V standard electricity to the bulb.

ok, this is what i was wondering. it looks like you can put that bulb in your nightstand light if you wanted to. i would just look around for any fixture that fits your needs. if it can handle a 100w bulb than you are good to go. try Wal-mart i have seen clip on lights there also.

I got the clip on light and it works great. It was about $5 at home depot.
Currently, i'm gravity feeding water to the fuge from my main tank. The problem is, air in the line is creating a lot of bubbles. I'm wondering if I should just add an extra pump to my sump to feed the fuge.
