Looks awesome!
So if you don't mind me asking, how much did all of the plumbing/fittings cost you?
It looks like it could be a cheaper, but high efficiency skimmer.

I know Chris is on his way back to school now. I don't think he knows the cost since it is for his lab at work, I would think that they are not too expensive.

Just walked in the door. I have no idea what it would cost Kestrel. Like Jon said, we stock PVC at the lab.

If you could just what exactly kind of eductor is it? Size and specifications please? Also I tried to tell from your schematic of the eductor part, how do you hook up the eductor inside the eductor housing and where is the 1/2" hose barb you talk about?

to make the previous post a bit clearer, can you please detail this part, what part of it is the hose barb, how is the eductor hooked to the hose barb etc etc? Since I do not have an eductor in hand, it is hard to figure this part out. Additionally, it looks like all the contact time is from when the eductor mixes the air with the water until it enters the main 4" tube. In classic skimmer thinking, this is "not enought contact time" Could you please give me your thoughts on this??
*****EDIT***** OK! Someone just hit me over the head with a sledge hammer! DUH! The eductor is the 1/2" BARB! You do not have a retail eductor, the whole assembly actually makes the home made eductor! WOW! MAN! talk about a ton of bricks! Anyhow that leaves two last questions! the contact time one! and how do you make it sit flat?

Galleon, you did not warn us that this sounded like a jet plane taking off! Man is it loud! But it does skim like you would never believe!
