live rock pvc support

Does anyone have a DIY link for this project or photos, I would like to get some ideas, I am setting up my 125 next month and plan to use sand as my substrate?

I don't have any photos up yet (still in my camera), but I did two things. First I built a 6" tall, by 6" deep (width of want) support shelf with eggcrate on it. Used this to stack rock. Added 4" of sand, so this support only sticks out of the sand 2.5" or so. For rocks not on this support, I cut 4" pieces of PVC and pushed them into the sand like "pillars" and placed the rock on them. Seems to work pretty well, and have had no avalanches.
