Here's the new clam tank. Still need to build an enclosure for the back of it.

The odd shaped stand that I tried to build a sump for.

Self-drilled with overflow.

Decided to just go square on the sump... leak testing

Whole system up running leak test

Sump extending out from stand.

Next step is an enclosure to cover the back of sump and plumbing. I'll be putting in a little door in the side to allow for the emptying of the skimmer cup.

20g or 29g can't remember, sumps about 15-20

Cool setup! How are you going to hang the lighting? The best way to view clams is top down, are you going to suspend the lights or build a hood and view traditionally (That's how I would) Will you have enough room through the door to do maintenance and water changes etc.?

Not going to hang the light, right yet. There is room for some maintenance, but the back surround can be easily removed to get behind. As well as a small door to access the skimmer cup from the side.
