Phil,
please dont use all caps when typing. it is taken as you shouting...
also . even though you are using 3 differnt outlets to run your wiring.
you will have to look at the following.
1. what is already on each circut you you will be tapping into..
( if it is a 15 amp load already your not going to have enough power.)
2. many times wiring is jumped to several outlets, make sure that the three you are planning on usning are not the same circut.( i know for a fact that in my house ( because of age) that several rooms are linked together on the same circut)

I have a question...
How did you run the power to supplie the power strips?
Do you have a way to measure ambiant air temp in that compartment?
What is the total watts pulled if every thing is running at its rated power?
Is their a GFI breaker or outlet that leads to all of the outlets in their?
Does look a lot better an safer!

does this answer your question?..they both have built in breakers...the orange square looking switch's on the strip trips down if theres to much power,, just like a breaker in your garage..i paid about $60 for the both of them, they also come with a very thick cord that is 10 feet long

I do believe adding more than a 20 technically needs done by a pro according to law though (I think). I have two 30's dedicated to my tanks

Do you have any links on how to do this? I want to add two 20amp breakers dedicated to tank.

I dont. I didnt do mine myself. My father designed and built these incredible reef tank power supplies for me based on what I told him I needed as well as did all the hardwiring into the house for me. Its not complicated.........but I am not the person qualified to tell you exactly how to go about doing it by any means.
While it is simple to do and assuming you have the space in your house main pretty much involves snapping a couple breakers in aand running wire.........the repercussions for not doing things properly could be kinda severe.

Phil did you run dedicated breakers?
Pito, unless you have a basic knoladge I would find some one that does. Altho it is fair simple to do once you understand it. I would make shure the Breaker is GFI, and i can rember the gauge of the wire for 20 amp off the top of my head. If your gonna jsut jump into it go to menards or something to that efect. They will have book fairly cheep that will teach you how to do it. Just rember to cut the buss power completely and never bridge the 2 buss's.
Here is a link that may help you..
