Thanks. going to look for a premium wood of some sort that is easy to build with. It will cost more, but this is a pretty ambitious project for myself and my dad. Some pretty precise cuts, and I'm expecting to screw up quite a bit.

Latest Revision (Bored waiting for the lights to go down :P ) Doors are not proper components yet, but everything else is I think.

Well click the link in my signature if you want to see some of the details of my stand and canopy build. I did 2x4 framing and solid oak facing, and I spent way too much time on the woodworking, so hopefully there's some good tips there.
