I have not forgot about posting PIC. I am going out today in about 20 minute and get some paints. I may paint it tonight or tomorrow night depend on my time.

I been running around too much this week and did not get anything done.

I took the Canopy down yester day and use latex white to paint the inside. I paint it 3 time and left it outside to dry over night.

I now know why I should not be a painter

here is the pic. I quess the hardest part is down. right Tim?
I am plaining on adding another 46.5" Blue VHO light in also. I already order the light and endcap for it. All I have to do now is wait till they get here and add it in.
By the time I am done upgrading the light I am going to have a total of 2 48" vho light. 1 white and 1 blue, + 2 46.5" vho light, also with 1 white and 1 blue. I am guessing I am going to have a tatol of 440W of light total for my 55GL tank.


Thank for all the help. I would had never thought of painting the inside of the canopy white to get it reflected.
