I have attached a few pics of my tank which i have had set up for about a year. I thinks its pretty good for a low budget teenager who loves fish. Actually im going to Eckerd college for Marine Bio. My senior year in high school In my woods class i built the stand and hood. The stand is solid oak, has panelled sides, panelled doors, and two pull out drawers, and the tank is inset into the stand. The hinged board on the hood is very warped but im going to replace it soon. Also, in the hood I took an old computer power supply and some computer fans and did some electrical work and put the fans in the hood and now i have fan-cooled lights.
Other tank specs, 6 powerheads (diff sizes) a large
protein skimmer (on the left), 2, 24in flourescents, 1, 4ft flourescent, a hang on filter. All the pumps are kind of ugly, i tried building a large sump that was to go in my closet but that failed.
Fish- maroon clown, 2 striped damsels, blue tang, and a bannerfish. chocalate chip star, 5 small hermits, and other random snails.
I had a cool angler fish but i moved it to my other tank after it ate a damsel. in that tank there is the angler, large damsel, and some hermits, anenome, cleaner shrimp, ad
coral banded shrimp, and a starfish.
So anywho, I'd greatly appreciate advice, compliments, feedback from you guys. Thanks for you time. oh sorry about small pic size.
