Thanks, I am hoping to order the lights, a tunze set up with multi controller, and a return pump this week. The rest of the equipment will be transferred from my 75 when I make the switch after it has cycled.

WOW!!! That looks great.
Why the white inside the Canopy? For reflection? I did a DIY stand and stained mine dark, should I paint the inside of my canopy white too?

Looks great!! I painted the inside of mine white also. Hopefully it will make it bright in there.

You paint the inside of a hood white because it it the most reflective of the color spectrum. With black it will absorb the light and heat up and with white it reflects most of it back.

I am doing a similar setup with same tank, mind if I ask what you planned for return pump size, and how many return holes? I am pretty sure the pre-drilled setup you have there supports 600 gpm on each side return from the factory with built in overflows.

I am planning on running either a T4 or a Panworld 150ps. Both pumps push about 1200gph at 0 head. The factory overflows will hande this and I will use the 2 3/4" holes for the return pump. I don't want more flow than this going through my sump and refugium anyway. I will be using Tunze 6010's for in tank circulation to add about 6,200gph more. This is an SPS tank, so I want a lot of flow.

Be careful to factor in how many feet of head your pump will have to overcome due to resistance in your piping system. You will have about 4 feet of head to pump to the top of your tank, a tee to split to your 2 returns, and an elbow at each return hole. That's at least 7 feet of head your pump will be pushing against. Look at a flow chart for the Panworld 150 (if you can get one) and you'll find the flow at 7' of head will be nowhere near 1200 gph. It will likely be about half of that, maybe slightly more. I hope this helps you make a good decision in selecting a pump.

I know I will lose a lot of flow to head pressure on the return pump, but this is plenty of flow going through my sump/fuge. My main concern for the return pump is noise. I don't use a return pump for in tank circulation since this is not very economical. There will be 2 Tunze 6010 pumping just over 6,000gph in the tank.
