diy skimmer with a vegetable sprayer nozzle?

I'm thinking this would probably clog up quickly - but what about an AquaC clone using the nozzle out of those vegetable sprayers installed on most kitchen sinks? Seems that a good little pressure pump would push that nicely.

I know people have used pressure washer nozzles to replace the AquaC injector with excellent results. I'm thinking this might be something for a smaller system to use. Or an array could be used for a larger setup. Hmmm....

it depends on your head hieght but you may be able to use a mid size mag. i made a nano skimmer with spray injection and it uses about an 80 GPH pump. granted it only has 3 holes that are about 1/16" but for comparison purposes........

I’ve always been a bit interested in how the AquaC works using an injector. I’ve never seen photos of their parts. Does anyone have one of these or can post some pics of their parts? I’d bet that a good DIY is possible.

I have no experience with the AquaC at all so I wouldn’t know how well it functions or in relationship to needle wheels, but its worth investigating.

Just an update that I splurged and picked up an H&S recently. I think it's safe to say that the vegetable sprayer based skimmer won't be happening anytime soon. If ever.

I do appreciate the feedback though. Maybe I'll stumble across some in a clearance bin sometime...
