diy protien skimmers (hsa and downdraft style)

anyone make a hsa or downdraft style protien skimmer? 95% of the links i found didn't work/load

lots of people have. check on RC in the diy links on the homepage or diy forum. there are many many skimmers like that.

are you looking for exact plans or the basic principals in order to make one specific for your system?

when building skimmers 99% of the time people adapt the plans to what they need. when i built my skimmers i would find a delivery method i liked then figured out how and where to get the water in and out to benefit my sytem the best.

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies and gentlemen. Really enjoying my time here "in" the reef tank.

I've had trouble loading anything related to hsa and dd style skimmers, not sure exactly what i am looking for, but i'm planing to place it in the sump. Also, i'd like to somehow attach a Ca reactor to the setup.

just looking to find some plans, see what the diff ones have to offer and progress from there, thanks
