DIY Moon Lights, ...Sort Of DIY

My wife and I were cruising through Sam's Club and she passed the Christmas lights, yes Christmas lights already, she said those are bright. I asked what is bright; she said those LED Christmas lights. I thought why not, I could staple those guys on the inside of my 210g's canopy and have a new set of moon lights. In the pics they look much brighter than they are, I am still trying to figure out this Canon SXi.
A couple of hours later and this is what I have.
Front view,

Inside canopy view,

And a pic of the box they came in,

talking about being smart! Now when one burns out all you have to do is change the one bulb. Wish I had a canopy over my tank

the only thing I have found about the LED christmas lights is that they do mess up after a while from salt spray. So, I use Rope lights in blue and multiple strands

I used a staple gun to install them; they are easy enough to remove if that becomes a problem.

I got them at Target. The rope lights are really dim, you may need more than 1 strand ( i need another over my 135) if you have a larger tank
