DIY Kalk drip
Hey all, I am trying to figure out a way to make a DIY kalk drip. Any suggestions? Also, need some help figuring out how often and how much to drip.

Rotties is that what You are using for Your top off, I have a fresh top off but want the kalk to be a few drops at a time like 1 or 2 drops a minute 24/7. I lose about 11/2 to 2 gallons a day and don't want to be adding that much at any one time.

How do you know how much and how fast it should be dripping kalk into your tank?
I have a 55 gal tank with about 15 gals of water in the sump.
I was planning on just using a kalk mix for the top off when i add in top of water.. but i'd rather ust to a dripper.

Are you planning it to be a constant top off, to where the level in the sump never drops?
If so it all depends on how much evap you have daily. There are 128 drops of water in 1 teaspoon; you can figure out how many drops/min you need based on that.

so basically i should continue to add it with my top off water, unless i have an auto top off plus the dripping kalk into there.
