DIY hood finishing

Well, I have the hood I have made for my 5.5 gallon nano tank. THe whole thign has been coated with a primer and sanded and is ready to be finished. I read that I can do normal black spray paint on the outside, but I was unsure of what to put on the inside of this, and im sure someone here can help me. Thanks in advance.

I like to use white oil based enamel on the inside; it's very durable and helps spread and reflect the light quite well.

Alright, thanks alot for the help. I was at home depot today, but I was looking for the wrong thing. I was looking for some malomine urethane, which was suggested from another site on a DIY canopy page. But HD didnt have it.
So I will get one of my parents to take me tomorow to get it, thanks alot again for the help.
