have you priced the glass yet? are you looking to save money, or just wanted to DIY the tank?

About ten years ago I built a DIY 45 gallon hex for about $70. No idea how much more the glass would be these days, but it wasn't too hard.

unless im bringing it to you 49000 lb at a time or you know some one at a window shop it will cost more to make it yourself than to buy it new, i know the cost of just trucking it (me) runs about $3-5 a mile
