DIY canopy

does anyone have any DIY plans for a canopy for a 180 gallon reef tank? I am building the stand, but I don't know how to build the canopy, and I can't find any good plans.

Casey just made one, ask him in his show-off thread.

there are not any real plans out there on canopies. everyone has their own ideas on how they want them to open, what kind of lighting they want in there. this can dictate where braces need to be. there is also the question of how heavy do you want the canopy to be. also do you want to be ablet to paint it or stain it.
