Diy Canopy ???

hey can any one point me in the right direction for caonpy dimensinos and blueprints to build my own 35 gal hex canopy?> i cant find plans or blueprints everywhere ... i have a good idea but i want plans befor i start ... hanks for any help sites and pictures are always a plus !

I don't know of any blueprints, but I made my own 55G canopy. Just measure and plan well for dimensions... it should be fine. Be sure to preplan for lighting (how high from the water your want your bulbs to be, and for circulation with leaving cutouts for fans.)

yep, you likely won't find any plans, you'll have to make them yourself. Just take the measurements of the tank and work from there.

Go to Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, anywhere that sells dowels. They are relatively cheap. And then some duct tape. Start cutting the dowels to build an outline of the frame you want. It lets you adjust things to figure out what you want. Then, you can start posting ideas and get other peoples thoughts on it and end up with a final design before you start building. I don't think you will find any ready made plans for a 35G Hex canopy so you will have to design it yourself.
