DIY calcium reactor progress

Just a quick shot since it's beginning to look like something. The left is the main chamber the right is the secondary. Should be up and running by new years or shortly after. I am waiting for my co2 regulator and ph controller to come.

looks great!! looks like the one i will be starting shortly also.

keep an eye on those closet flanges. i have had bad luck with those. i am assuming those are the knock out versions. where you knock it out is very thin and have started leaking on me. i have tried 3 and they all eventually started leaking on me. i have started just using the rubber temp caps. these are held on with a large pipe clamp. i have yet to have one leak. they can also handle gobs of pressure.

One of them is the test cap type, and seems pretty heavy on the bottom. The other was open and I made an acrylic disk to glue into the bottom of the tube. I will take a much closer look at that test flange.

if you glue an acrylic disc to the bottom that should do it.
