DIY 75gal Stand with basic hand tools

I've been enjoying my 20gal fowlr tank for about 3 years now. I've always wanted to set up a mixed reef. So recently I purchased a 75gal reef ready AGA and decited to build my own stand and canopy. With the help of my friend Casey the stand is coming along beautifuly. Its constructed of pine 2x4's oak vaneer and hardwood trim. The only tools used to build this stand so far are a compound miter saw, table saw, drill, and jig saw. The results so far have completely exceeded my expectations and I cant wait to finish it.

We made a little progress today on the cabinet after watching the bears crumble to the falcons . Anyways finished the trim and got a good start on the doors before we ran out of wood. Should have the whole thing finished by the end of the week, and probably another 50 trips to home depot . Below are a couple of pictures one is a close up of the trim we're using and the other well you get the idea.

Luckily both Casey and I had a short day and were able to make the final push to finish it today. Its not perfect but dam its close

Don't move it, just start another. That would leave this part in the DIY area for the DIY'ers and a new thread could be a true build thread for the tank itself
