I want to find a web site or a online class on acrylic forming. I am wanting to build a 100 gallon tank but want to research it as much as I can. The DIY forum here is great but I want to learn more.

Welcome to TRT!!

sorry, but i do not have any specific knowledge that you are looking for. you might want to check in with a plastic shop near you and see if they know of any. you can do a search of google for "working with acrylic". i found some good info there.

Thanks Geoff!!
I got alot of information from google. What I was curious about though was I heard about an online class one could take were for a fee you were sent all the materials needed to learn how to form acrylic. I think it was a protien skimmer? But it taught seemless forming and jointless bonding? Have you ever heard of anything like that? I know you can buy tanks like that but I would rather build it for a couple of hundred than buy it for a couple of thousand!!!

thanks again
Mat
