custom pendant

well I just thought I'd show off a custom pendant that I'm building for someone this is only the second pendant I've built the first was for my tank there are pics of it in my tank thread (click on link in sig to see) anyway the reflector is to my design to fit the size restrictions I was given by the owner and it houses a 250w DE bulb , around the outsides of the MH reflector is PC's 2x36w and 2x18w again taking up all the room that the overall size of the pendant would allow. I used aluminum throught the pendant. anyway I'm just about finished with it just have to drill a few holes for the wiring and get it out to the paint shop.

oh yea in the pics the reflector still has the protective film to keep me from messing it up while working arround it...and the long rods it is hanging from have since been cut down to size and finished....

i like it. i need to think about doing something like that for my tank!!! where did you get the Al? i do not know why i never thought about using rivets before!

the material used for the reflector is the "solor tube" material. it was actualy hard to find I found stuff that looked to have a "sticker" on it instead of it just being polished. so if you start lookin arround for the solor tube material jsut look at it closely. this is the name on the box of the one I got ODL solar flair the box actualy says "lined with super reflective film" but it is'nt it is just plain polished. I tested with a torch to make sure and all good.
