I think that's your best process. Others have explored alternatives to decrease curing time and it doesn't really help much.
Earlier I was commenting on how I'd use relatively
uncured rock to start frags but I've noticed that I can't seem to keep mushrooms on them, they jump off and attach to the bottom of the tank, preferentially, and I'm wondering if the uncured state of the rock might be a factor. Sps seem to do just fine, but they are not in direct contact with the rock, being imbedded in superglue for quite a while before the coral encrusts the base, making contact with the rock.
