Corrugated Tubing for Plumbing

Has anyone ever used corrugated tubing for their plubming? The tubing I found was in the garden section with all the supplies for pond building. Just wondering if anyone had any experience using this. If so, was it durable for use in saltwater? This is the link to the tubing... http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...0CT&lpage=none

It would also increase friction significantly and reduce the flow on the drain/add head on a return. Better to go with the spaflex PVC if your looking for something flexible

Why CPVC? You have no heat to deal with that PVC can't handle and CPVC is more restrictive than PVC is.

When I looked at that link this morning (early) the Lowes site was doing maintenance. After seeing it now, no, I wouldn't use it. As said, it will increase friction but it also is smaller on the inside. If you measure it, the 3/4" is to the outside of the corrugation which makes it smaller on the insde by the size of the corrugation. Means you have less room to flow water and that increases head pressure on the pump meaning you are pumping even less water.

Simply use PVC.
