I have a coralife 150watt
HQI pendant that i got a great deal on so i jumped on it. I live in a apartment so i can't hang it over my tank. I was wondering if there is a way to take apart the pendant and put it in coralife PC casing. I am aware that the ballast will most likely not fit in the coralife PC housing. I don't want to make a canopy at this point so I would like to use that sleek housing. Another question is can i use any thick glass to protect water from hitting the
halide bulb...or does it need to be UV resistant and tempered? Also what reflector(on a budget) will help spread the halide light over a 20L tank. Just trying to make a clean looking build.
