the good thing about geting a MH box for a tank is that they can stop salt and water a little better then the commercial "for land" not water models

Tims double taps I think is that it clips in on each end of the bulb instead of one end (screwing in).

I think double tap refers to the input voltage for the ballasts. 120, 208, 240, 277, 480, etc.. for different commercial applications. They usually have different wires for the different voltages just cap the ones you don't use. I made the mistake of buying a workhorse 7 ballast once that was set up for 240 and couldn't use it. Make sure you can at least wire it for whatever your home voltage is.

Check with hellolights, I saw they just had some clearance 150/175w electronic ballasts on clearance for about $80. They'll run practically any DE 150w bulb and are comparable to magnetic 250w SE, plus they're cheaper and cooler to run. Only about $30 more than magnetics and they give you a lot more bulb options. I have one over my nano with a 20k ushio that cost me $130 for everything and I love it.
